Book Review:
Mine is the Night - Liz Curtis Higgs
It is time for another Book Review. I must admit after my last book I had a hard time starting this one I was afraid that I would end up in another book that was a slow read, and this book is a very thick with 442 pages. Once I started this story I knew I had nothing to worry about. This book held my attention once I started reading I could not stop.
The store is a Sequel to Here Burns my Candle. I have not read this story and was still able to understand and enjoy the book. The story is very similar to the story of Ruth from the bible. Elizabeth goes with her Mother in law, Marjory back to Marjory's hometown with nothing to their names.
I love the writing style of Ms. Higgs's The story is very well woven together. I immediately fell in love with all the characters of this book. Their faith and strength are inspiring.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
This is a wonderful read!! If you are looking for a good book this would be a good choice.
