Magic Cabin Book Rack review/giveaway

Have you ever heard of Magic Cabin?  They are a great company with a wide range of very unique children's items. 

I was recently given the opportunity to review the Book Rack.  I was so excited for the arrival of this book rack little bit's books are all over the place.  For one so little she sure does have alot of books.

The arrived in a nice little box with tons of pieces so with a few basic tools and hubby's help we set the rack up.  I was a little confused on how to get the clothe in correctly, but hubby figured it out and we had the thing set up in less than 30 minutes.  I love this book rack.  

The rack stands just a few inches higher then my 9 month old.  She is able to get the books out by herself and it looks so cute in her room. 

The only thing I wish I had done differently was to put our last name instead of her name on it so it could be used with future children.  

I highly recommend this book rack for any young book lover. 

I think Magic Cabin is a great store to find different kid's gifts they have a great variety.

Long time no blogging

Hello everyone out there!!!

Can you believe that it is already the middle of October?  Time just seems to be flying!! 

I spent some time sort through baby bug's clothes this evening putting away some things that were too small or very summery she is growing like a weed!!! She has enough clothes to outfit a small baby army!!  I have been given several cute hammy downs and I love yard sale, consignment sale, and thrifty shop deals.  I have a few outfits that are piper and posie brand.  Does anyone know where this brand is sold I am not very familiar with it but I love these outfits.

Easy Breakfast smoothie:

-1 cup Yogurt ( we used nonfat peach)

-1  bananna 

-3 tablespoons Milk

-Ice (about 5 cubes)

Stick all ingredients in the blender blend until smooth.  The cool thing about this smoothie I ate it and Babybug was able to eat it.  She loved it!! I enjoyed it as well.  If are fixing for older kids or just yourself you can sweeten with honey remember little one are not suppose to have honey so don't add it in for your babies!!

CSN Stores Review coming!!

Have you checked out CSN stores yet?  They are a huge site with tons of great products.  If you are decorating the house they are a great place to find all your furniture needs.  They carry everything from couches to console tables.  They have lamps and rugs, well pretty much everything.  

     My biggest problem when I go to choose something from CSN is making a decision there are so many great products to choose from.  If you have not checked them out yet it is time for you to take a peek at there great stock.  I have worked with them now twice and have had excellent experiences both times.  Check out my CSN reviews here and here.

    CSN is giving me another opportunity to do a review with them keep an eye for my next CSN product review.  In the mean time check out CSN stores.  I promise you could look for hours and not see nearly all the products they carry. 

Book Review- Where Hearts Are Free - by Golden Keyes Parsons

   
Where Hearts are Free is the third book in a fiction series titled A Darkness to light.  Bridget is in love with Phillipe Clavell, but their love is an impossible one, their worlds separated by many hurtles including station in life and religion and an engagement of convenience.
     I loved this story, the author keep me on my toes through the whole book.  I ached and rejoiced with Bridget as she went through the journey life lead her on.  The book is very well written I could close my eyes and see the plantation and feel the darkness of Bridget's Betrothed's large house.  I could see Bridget's mother and father trying so hard to do what they felt was right for their beloved daughter.  This book is a third in a series as I mentioned before, this did not hinder me from understanding the story line and it reads very well as a stand alone book, though after reading it I am itching to go back and read the first two in the series.  I give this book 5 out of 5 stars it was a real joy to read.

csn- review Walk and sculpt

 Walk away the pounds: Walk and Sculpt.

I know guys it has been ages since I promised a little CSN review.  Well it took me forever to choose what to review!!  The choices are endless!!  There are so many great products.  I need desperately to get back into shape so I narrowed it down to something in the fitness department.

After more and more searching I choose the Gaiam Walk Away The Pounds Walk and Sculpt Kit.

The kit comes with a DVD and light weight workout balls.  The DVD is a total of 95 minutes long.  It has three levels of workout on it - the 1 mile for beginners called Get up and Get Started, the two mile called High Calorie Burn and the three mile called Super Fat Burning.  The exercises are lead by walking guru Leslie Sansone.  She is one of my favorite workout video people!!  I love this work out even the one mile is challenging the weighted balls really help add to the intensity.  The balls are small and easy to hold on to, I was a little concerned that they would not be easy to use but they felt very natural during the workout.  The only thing I did not like about the kit is that the DVD only comes in a little cardboard sleeve, instead of a plastic case.  I like for my DVDs to be in cases because I feel like it helps them last longer.  
I give this kit a 4 out of 5 stars I really do like it and feel like it is a great fitness tool and something I can easily do.  
You can purchase this set at CSN stores for $20.00  I think that is a reasonable price for this great kit!!

I was given the opportunity to review the chocolate making kit.  What fun!!  The kit even included a chocolate bean so children can see where the chocolate comes from in it's earliest form.  The kits comes with everything to make these yummy treats!! I have to admit I did not get to try the chocolate because I mixed up to of the ingredients and messed my batch up.  This as a silly mistake on my part the directions are very easy to follow just pay attention to the nice labels on each bag!! I do recommend this product as a great adventure for home or school.  I could see this as a great birthday party activity to allow the kids to make their own candy. 

I also got a chance to review some of glee's all natural gum.  Yum!!  I loved all the yummy flavors I think Tangerine is my favorite.  The gum is made from chicle from the rainforest.  Read more on the gum here

Ella's Kitchen Review and Giveaway

We were sent some yummy Ella's Kitchen foods to try.  I make a lot of Baby Bug's food, but there are sometimes that I need a quick meal on the go.  Ella's Kitchen has some great baby food selections.  We received four to try: The Green One, the purple one, butternut Squash, carrots, apples and prunes, and spinach, apples and rutabaga.  

    The Green One and The purple one are fruit smoothies made with 100% mashed up fruit.  Baby bug loved it!! I gave her some by it self and used some to sweeten her plain yogurt it was a hit, and I felt good knowing it was nothing but real fruit.  These make a perfect snack for older kids too.  I sneaked a taste and must say these are mighty tastey.

    

Ella's Kitchen also sales stage one baby foods.  Sarah was in love with both of the two we tried.  I was not so sure if she would go for these but she absolutely loved them.  I was pleased to try these with her because I know that rutabaga is not a veggie I will be fixing for her I have no idea how to cook a rutabaga!!

I thought these were a great choice for my sweetie pie!! They also travel so nicely it is great to be able to throw them in the bag and go.  I poured Baby Bug's into a bowl but I did try to feed her some straight out of the container and it worked so these could be a great on the go to eat without having to have silverware and bowls handy.
