I found a great site for finding low entry giveaways

Ten Talents

She puts up a list of giveaways each day that have low entries I believe her cut off is 100 or less.

It really is a nice resource to finding giveaways.

I went to yard sales Saturday.  I did not find a lot but I did find what will probably be Baby Bug's Easter Dress for next year. 

I think it is darling!! And I snagged it for $2 dollars.

It is a sleeveless dress with little pink bows and flowers around the neckline then the jacket has those sweet little pleats with bows at the top and a white collar with pretty pink flowers on it.  I am in love with it!! Since the dress is sleeveless and it has the jacket it will work however the weather chooses to be on Easter.  

I have started doing some of my regular shopping at the dollar store.  I think I am saving money both in the prices and the fact that their are not so many products to tempt me into buying them as their would be at the bigger stores.

I cannot wait for it to arrive I am always looking for a good read!!

Thursdays are great!!

Happy Thursday everyone!!

I hope everyone is having a great day.

Baby bug and I have had kind of a slow moving day we woke up and lazed around the house a bit enjoyed some books and a slow start to this hot hot hot Thursday.  We did run some errands and as always everyone we met stopped to admire the cutest little girl ever!!

I spent some time in my garden, we made the mistake of not getting the wire things for the tomatoes to grow on and they are all over the place and since the are on the ground a lovely little bunny has been helping himself to my tomatoes!! So I did my best to get them tied up and off the ground.  I did pick my first piece of produce from the garden the other night it is a banana pepper isn't it pretty?  

I also took some time to pick a few of the flowers we have around the house to make a little bouquet for the table. 

I know they are not the prettiest ever but I like having the little extra cheer on the table.

I got my gift card to Eagle America from the blog-  A Concord Carpenter Comments.  This is a neat blog for all those carpenter, handy type people out there!! He shows some really neat projects.  

I cannot wait to spend this on one of the handymen in my life!

Monday A start to a new week

Happy Monday Ladies and Gentleman!!

I hope everyone had a good Father's day yesterday, and had time to reflect on our Heavenly Father that loves us all so much!! 

We had a nice Father's day here.  Woke up opened father's day presents - babybug gave her daddy a life jacket and a framed picture of her that said Dad your the best.  Then it was off to church,  we came home and daddy spent some time fiddling in his garage something he loves to do.  We went to his grandma's house for dinner then it was off to see Marmaduke at the theater.  Our church has been doing family fun nights each Sunday in June they have been having events for the whole family.  Last night they booked two showings of Marmaduke at the theater it was a very enjoyable time and so much fun for us to watch.

While we were out and about my best friend stopped by on their way through town and left the sweetest gift ever for babybug it was a taggie blanket, with her name stitched in one corner.  Babybug loves it she plays with all the different ribbons and has tried all the taggies out to find which one tastes the best.  The blanket itself is made out of that Minky dot material.  I am thinking to make one of these blankies for a friend who is expecting we will have to see if mine can come out as nice as babybug's new blankie.  

Well looks like it will be mainly a cleaning day.  I have a few errands to do later on today but for the most part we are just here at home cleaning! :)

MailBox Monday

Ok, I decided I was going to participate in MailBox Mondays, my mailbox had very little in it this week just three little samples and a whole lot of bills.
What I got:

2. a Purex complete 3 in 1 sample
3 Child Safe tattoos - cool little tattoo where you can write your phone number on your kids before big crowded events.

That was it for my mailbox Go to a frugal friend to see other peoples great mailbox finds.

Happy Friday everyone!!! 

Today has been kind of a slow day Baby bug and I slept in then went to go pick up her pictures at JcPenny's that is really all I have accomplished so far today!!! 

Her pictures turned out very sweet.  They always send a few extras that you can buy at the time of pick up.  One page today had a 5x7 that says Dad your the best on it so we bought those and put it in a frame to add to Hubby's Father's Day present.  

I hope everyone has a great Father's Day!! We are planning dinner with his family and then the church is hosting a family movie night so we will be going to see a movie with the church fun!! 

I cannot believe it is already so late into June where has the time gone?  Before you know it summer will be gone and we will be bringing out the sweaters for fall.
